      【Abstract】As is known to all, nowadays the most urgent task of primary education is to change the education tending to test into the education for the synthesize qualities of the students. During this course there are many obstructions but the most serious obstructions comes from the concept of education. The present situation is not optimistic, how to achieve unities of teaching and learning is important in our education.

      About 90 percent of the English knowledge for junior students is taught only in class. During senior middle school English study, although the students have some self-teaching ability, most of the English knowledge is also taught in class. The teacher must adopt the best way in order to make the students interested and attracted, make the students think it happy to learn English in class, quicken the teaching rhyme and enlarge the knowledge and make the teaching quality high.
      
      1.The present situation and problems in junior English Teaching
      
      Comrade Li Lanqin, a previous vice prime minister of state council, pointed out at the meeting of first, second, and high school about foreign language teaching in 1998, “There are many problems such as so much time, but so little effect in the foreign language method in our country”. We must try to change it in time. But where do the problems come from?
      Everyone knows: nowadays the most urgent task of primary education is to change the education tending to test into the education for the synthesize qualities of the students. During this course there are many obstruction, but the most serious obstruction comes from the concept of education. For a long time, everybody is accused of being used to ding the education tending examination, presume the rate of entering a higher school unilaterally, drop most of the students, but only care for the “top students” who are thought to be hopeful. With the false teaching idea, the foreign language teaching is impacted greatly.
      In the rural schools the present situation of English teaching class is “ under the arm”, many school don’t have a language lab. Most schools have no chance to use a video recorder, a slide projector as a teaching facility. Many schools don’t offer the teachers special recorder and some schools have some recorders but no cassettes, and always each grade has a set of cassettes. Many schools don’t have the pictures for teaching, word cards or reading materials except students’ books.
      The teaching methods are the teaching means which teachers in order to complete the teaching task. Nowadays, the rural schools still adopt the tradition way- “Teacher is center”[1]. In class still teachers speak and students listen; the teachers ask, and the students answer; most of the teachers explain the language in Chinese, hold a book in their handstand, before the teaching board, explain the language knowledge, and do many bored dreary drills divorced from reality. Teachers are restricted by subjective desire and objective reality. Their teaching methods are dreary, and bored. The class is dull and uninteresting. Students are in passive position.[2]
      The social language circumstance is one of the elements which influence3 the effects of English teaching. In some school there is no language circumstance. The students had no time and no chance to speak English either in society or at home.
      
      2.How to Achieve Unities of Teaching and learning
      
      Before having lessons, the teacher should read the lesson first and prepare the lesson carefully and helpfully. Of course, the teacher should consider teaching methods and students too. When you are familiar with the lessons, the teachers are going to ascertain the main and difficult points of language knowledge on the basis of the students’ real English level, and the characteristic of the class. The teacher should consider how to make the students grasp more knowledge happily and easily in class. If it is necessary for teaching methods, you can adjust the structure of the lesson. In this way, when you are having lesson. You must be proficient.
      It takes only a few minutes to lead to the lesson, but it can make a lesson successful or fail. There are many different kinds of ways to lead the lesson such as a free talk with students, a humor or a funny story told by a teacher or a student. All these can enhance the students’ attention upon the English Knowledge and make them go into the scene of the class as a master of teaching and studying English and quicken the rhythm of teaching.
      The teacher should have sharp eyes. The teacher should adjust or change. If the students accept knowledge easily, the rhythm can be quickened, On the contrary, the rhythm should be slowed.
      The harmonious relation between the teacher and the students in none intelligence element, but it plays an important role in improving the students’ quality. The students become more interested in improving of the harmonious relation between the teacher and the students and like the teacher/s lesson very much. So they can cooperate with the teacher actively. Naturally the class is more active, lively and interesting.
      
      2.1 Make full use of scene in the textbook and carry on many kinds of practicing activities.
      The students’ book now has many pictures. There are many chances for the teacher and the student to practise. The students learn something while they are speaking and acting in English. For instance, greeting, seeing a doctor and doing shopping in class or our daily life.. Some lessons are very interesting. If the teacher uses it properly, the students will learn much more or finish their study task easily and quickly. For example, after learning the text about a telephone call, students begin to practise with their classmates on their way home or to school. At home, students can telephone their English teachers in the evening. That is to say, the students learn how to telephone in English in a practical way.
      
      2.2 Create the scene and change stillness into motion so as to facilitate studying:
      In the textbook some lessons don’t offer the scene to practise, at this time, the teacher will use his head to find the scene and make the class interesting. For example, when studying “the Speaking” part of Unit 13, Healthy eating ,Senior English for China Book I[3][4], students are given the topic about talking about healthy food and junk food. The teacher talks to the students about the difference between the advice of a friend and the advice of a doctor first, then has the students work with a partner to write a short dialogue, finally, together with the class, practices the speaking part. In this way, the students grasp how to use the useful expressions and how to give advice and make suggestions in a dialogue of seeing a doctor.
      
      2.3 Use the happy teaching way:
      Happy teaching means that the students grasp the language knowledge happily and easily. It’s one of the most popular teaching methods these days. It is adopted to the physiological and psychological characteristic of the students. The features and roles of the happy teaching:(1)Interest, (2)Object teaching, (3)Partake of games, (4)Competition. The forms and ways of happy teaching act as role: Most of the students are interested in most of the lessons. You can strengthen this attraction by creating the interesting elements or making good design of teaching methods. Not only the contents but also the forms are various, There are pictures, cassettes, songs in the mood. But the teacher must help the students to find its attraction. We may grasp firmly the interesting form and contents. We ask students to find the necessary tools and act the dialogue as a role with the help of the teacher, they are learning more.
      Use the above methods in the classroom. The teacher carries on practice with the students. Thus the class is very the class is active, lively and interesting while they are acting and playing game. The students are all interested in English. It makes a role of getting twice the result with half the effort. And on the other hand draw lessons from creamy parts of general principles of education. Last, from the easiest to the hardest; from the simplest to the most complicated. Don’t think these traditional principles are out of date. The suitable application of these principles is not easy indeed.
