    初中英语教学中如何培养学生与他人融洽相处|相处融洽

      进入新校园,面对新的学习生活环境,学生难免要有一个适应新环境的过程。如果学生能调节缩短适应新环境的时间,则有助于他们学习的全身心投入和自身的健康发展。反之,情绪消极,思想压抑,学习精力不集中,对学生而言,If you find it hard to get on with other people in your class or you don’t get on with anybody in your class,you'll have a problem.(如果你觉得在班上很难与他人相处或你跟班上的所有人都合不来,你就会存在问题)。
      在新的学习环境中,学生要make friends(交朋友),get on with other people(与别人相处),部分学生羞于启齿,缺乏向老师倾诉内心苦衷的勇气,无法敞开自己心扉的大门,从而失去了教师及时给予启发和点拨的机会,这无疑在心灵深处造成很深的忧虑、伤感和烦恼。
      在教学中部分学生存在以上现象,教师在初二英语下册Module 2 Friendship(模块二,友谊)的教学时,应结合知识传播途径,向学生传授Friendship和get on well with other people的观念,从思想上减轻学生负担。现以Unit 2 No one knew who I Was为例,小议教学中的一点粗浅的看法。
      进入本单元的教学前应做必要的热身活动,在预先教学和突破重点生字词lonely, make friends(with),touch,bright等的前提下,与学生进行以下对话有助于教学及学习。
      Who's new? Do you feel lonely? When do you feel lonely? Are you afraid of loneliness? Do you feel terrible when you are lonely? How did you feel on dark days because of loneliness? Who did you tell about it? What did you do to feel better later? When did you feel the touch of something bright and friendly? Do you think you should do something else to make other people forget loneliness?
      通过以上师生互动的问答,既了解了学生的情况,又训练了学生的思维表达能力,为下一步教学奠定基础。
      阅读部分内容教学,由标题A beautiful smile,教师可在黑板上板书以下问题,让学生带着对这些问题去通读全文:1.How could a beautiful smile become a very important gift?2.How did the writer feel in the early autumn of the first year at a junior high school?3. What happened to her later?4.How did the smile change her life?5.What does she now think everything happened in the past?6.What useful advice does the writer give us?
      对学生做到以上提问检查后,教师可依据课文内容结构做下列归纳。
      美丽的微笑之所以能成为一件重要的礼物,是因为That smile changed her life. She didn't feel lonely any more.
      课文中笔者上初中第一年早秋的感受是:No one knew who she was.As as a result,she was very lonely and afraid to make friends with anyone.Every time she heard the other students talking and laughing,she felt her heart break,she couldn't talk to anyone about her problem,and she didn't want her parents to worry about her.
      后来发生的事情:One day her classmates talked happily with their friends,but the writer sat at her desk unhappily as usual.A boy entered the classroom and passed her.He looked at her, without a word,smiled.
      那个微笑如何改变作者的一生?She felt the touch of somethingbright and friendly.1t made her feel happy, lively and warm. Then she started to talk with the other classmates and make friends.Day by day, she became closer to everyone in her class.
      过去发生的一切现在作者认为怎样?It doesn't matter because all the dark days have gone.She believes that the world is what you think .
      作者给我们提出什么有益的建议?If you think you are lonely, you might always be alone.So smile to the world and it will smile back.
      完成上述教学步骤,经过课文Activity3,检测学生对全文内容的理解程度,接着通过Activity 4,以生词lonely为核心,训练学生对方框中生字的掌握运用,最后以Activities 5~6加深巩固学生对课文内容的理解记忆。
      总之,课文教学要以词Lonely为主要线索进行全面铺展,让那些有课文中作者类似经历的学生摆脱孤独的阴影,做到Forget about feeling lonely(忘记孤独感),懂得It's how much important you get on well with omther people(你与别人融洽相处是多么重要),这样,学生既能完成学习任务,又能顺其自然地协调好同学之间融洽相处的关系。
